Captive is a song about transparent living. As such, it will mean something different to each listener. May the hope, the freedom, the soul liberty that this song attempts to transmit, spur each of us on to continue to lay the deepest and perhaps most profoundly hidden elements of our selves before God. The separation that kept us as strangers before God has been erased through Christ. We can come before Him with our dreams, our goals, our failures... and are welcomed.
